Buddhism, Paris.

After his attainment of Enlightenment, the Buddha spent the last forty five years of his life teaching the means, or Dharma, by which others could realise that experience. What we now call Buddhism, in all its different cultural forms, is none other than our heritage of that teaching. You can learn the practise of Buddhism in Paris, at ‘Le Centre Bouddhiste de l’Ile de France’.

A Zen Buddha

Introduction to Buddhism:

A short quided meditation followed by time to ask your own questions. Suitable for those who are completely new to Buddhism.

Saturdays:

Buddhism course.

Courses for those who already know the two meditations taught at le Centre Bouddhiste and want to learn about the pratice of Buddhism.

“Conditioned co-production” - from 2nd till 16th April on Wednesdays from 8pm till 10.
Suggested donation for each course: 25 € for all four weeks or 10 € per evening.

“Action” - from 14th May till 4th June on Wednesdays from 8pm till 10.
Suggested donation for each course: 35 € for all four weeks or 10 € per evening.

Sangha night:

Evenings dedicated to the practise of meditation and teachings on Buddhism in the context of spiritual community or Sangha, for those who practise within the context of the FWBO.

From 8pm till 10.

Suggested donation 10 €..

Buddhist retreat:

A week long retreat in the countryside near Paris for all who have learnt the two meditations taught at le Centre Bouddhiste.

The Centre Bouddhiste de l'Ile de France

The Centre Bouddhiste de l’Ile de France doesn’t have any source of financial support outside of the suggested donations for activities, which is a traditional way of supporting Buddhist activites. Those who run and those who teach at the Centre do so completely voluntairly.

The teaching of the Buddha does not have a price, but to cover the running costs of the Centre Bouddhiste we suggest a donation for each event. You are always welcome to give more or less as you wish.
